The Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center will mark National Child Abuse Prevention Month and celebrate 37 years of service with its annual “Under the Stars” fundraiser on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Oak Hollow Farm.

The event will feature an evening of dining, live music by the ISING LIVE Band, dancing and both silent and live auctions. Organizers are encouraging community members to attend and support efforts to end child abuse in Baldwin County.

The Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit with offices in Summerdale and Bay Minette, was incorporated in 1986 and opened in 1989. Over the past 36 years, the organization has served thousands of children who are victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse.

The center provides services including forensic interviews, counseling, family advocacy, court advocacy and medical exams through a multidisciplinary team. It also offers prevention education and community outreach programs aimed at reducing abuse and supporting families.

Auction items at the fundraiser will include vacation packages, fishing excursions and artwork. Tickets are $85 per person, with proceeds supporting and expanding programs for children in need.

Executive Director Niki Whitaker emphasized the importance of community support.
