Several Bayside Academy students received top awards at the Greater Mobile Student Art Show sponsored by the Mobile Arts Council, highlighting the school’s strong presence in the region’s annual student art competition. The Greater Mobile Student Art Show brings together young artists from across the region, offering them the chance to compete and display their work in a professional setting. Students from the independent college preparatory school earned first-place recognition across multiple artistic categories. Penny Snell, Class of 2027, won first place in painting. Major Thompson, Class of 2026, earned first place in sculpture, while Garrek Snell, Class of 2026, took top honors in craft. Anne Patton Gaillard, Class of 2026, also won first place in new media. Evan Stafford, Class of 2026, and Tbug Baker, Class of 2027, received honorable mentions in new media and photography, respectively.
