Shelby Fargason ran her way to the hearts of Gulf Coast Media readers and was named the Week 6 winner of the Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week.

The Bayside Academy sophomore continues to blaze her name into the record books as Fargason became the third-fastest runner in Admiral history with a 19:04 at the Early Bird Invitational.

She followed that up with a fourth-place finish in 19:36 at the Daphne Invitational last weekend at Blakeley State Park.
