DAPHNE—The Bayside Lady Admirals have an unprecedented challenge before them — again, but they have only themselves to blame for the situation they're in. Winning eight consecutive state titles tends to put a team under a bit of pressure to keep it going.
Fortunately, dealing with it is something head coach Ann Schilling has unprecedented experience with herself.
"They know it's there," she said as the Lady Admirals began their 2010 season with practices this week. "You don't even have to acknowledge it. They know it's going to take a lot of hard work. It has always been that way. I think the kids have responded well and I don't expect anything less from them than before."
