A letter from BRAG President Annie Root
First, I want to thank all of you who were involved with the organization, financing and implementation of our First Annual Art-Rageous Raffle Event held Sept. 20. It was an extremely successful 20th birthday celebration; a joyful evening for our guests, patrons and members.
For those of you who were unable to attend, positive winds of change also blew through the gallery; the Board of Directors and Executive Committee announced a new beginning for Bay Rivers Art Guild: we are now the Daphne Art Center.
The change over will hopefully be a brief process, so please be patient. Our email and website will be amended shortly ... we are anxious to move on and up for the next 20 years.
The Daphne Art Center looks forward to working more closely with the city, the Downtown Redevelopment Authority and SEEDS. These new associations can only enhance our membership, broaden our visibility, and keep us aware of the artistic needs of our citizens. Please feel free to stop by, call, visit our website, or check us out on Facebook to see what’s happening. In the future, we hope to keep these communications up to date and more fluid.
Sincerely,
Annie Root
