Students at Pine Grove Elementary School recently showed their appreciation for local first responders by organizing a snack food drive.

Under the leadership of Red Ribbon Week coordinator Chance Jackson, the school collected and delivered a variety of snack items to the Pine Grove Volunteer Fire Department.

The drive was a gesture of gratitude for the sacrifices made by the department’s volunteers, who work to protect and serve the community.

Pine Grove Elementary, located in the Bay Minette area, serves students in pre-K through sixth grade. Pamela Moore serves as principal of the school.
