FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Old 27 Grill in Fairhope is hosting Bay Area Songwriters Summerfest, a showcase of local singer-songwriters Thursday through Saturday.

Summerfest is three nights of six songwriters each night including Melissa Joiner, Andy MacDonald, Steve Wilkerson, and Stephen Lee Veal to name a few. The Bay Area Songwriters Association has been meeting since January 2014 at Old 27 Grill on the first and third Thursday of each month for all original music.

Music begins at 6:30 and 8 p.m. each night with three singers per session.

Thursday: Mackie Lister, Donnie Mills, Emily Stuckey, Andy MacDonald, Chad Austin Parker, Ryan Hensley.

Friday: Steve Wilkerson, Melissa Joiner, Mitch Johnston, Amy Lott, Bruce Jones, Megan McMillan.

Saturday: Alan Hartzell, Stephen Lee Veal, Johnny Barbato, Zachary Diedrich, Alvin Porter, Richelle Putnam.
