Helen Mikkelsen Bauer, 88, a native and resident of Summerdale, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert Bauer; brothers, Roy, Einar, Harold and Norman Mikkelsen; and sister, Hilda Ehrecke.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth (Barbara) Bauer of Foley, Clarence (Pairzetty) Bauer and Jim (Linda) Bauer, both of Gulf Shores, and Byron (Linda) Bauer of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Esther Hobbs of Mobile and Margaret Moore of Summerdale; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Mikkelsen of Summerdale and Helen Mikkelsen of Orange Beach; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at Marlow United Methodist Church with visitation at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Marlow United Methodist Church Building Fund.
