Linda Martens Bauer, born June 28, 1945, a native of Birmingham and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Thursday, April 24, 2008.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Bauer; her mother, Dorris Hoffman; brother, Carl (Cynthia) Martens; sister, Joanna (Ken) Crawford; two sons, Dan (Aimee) Bauer and Aaron Bauer; daughter, Wendy (Michael) Mills; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 28 at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Children’s Ministry at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 374, Gulf Shores, AL 36547.
