Jerry Wayne Bardin, 70, a native of Bratt, Fla., and a resident of Stockton, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.

He traveled extensively around the world as a start-up engineer in the oil refinery and coal gasification industry for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Marion Military Institute and served in the Special Forces of the U.S. Army.

He was an avid fisherman and Florida Gator football fan. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Liliana Bardin of Stockton; four daughters, Tamara Bardin Gretna, La., Laura Bardin and Ariel Barden, both of Stockton, and Debra (Buddy) Lambeth of of Milton, Fla.; three sons, Michael (Pam) Bardin of LaComb, La., James Bardin of Gonzales, La., and Kevin Bardin of Tallahassee, Fla.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday April 23 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral and cremation arrangements were made by Hughes Cremation & Funeral Services, Daphne.
