John Phillip Barbee III, 47, of Foley died Thursday, July 5, 2007.
He attended Louisiana State University and graduated from the University of New Orleans. He was the owner and operator of the Smoothie King in Foley.
Survivors include his father, Phil (Rose) Barbee Jr. of Greton, La.; his mother, Doris Ann Barbee of Pontchoula, La.; a sister, Janet Lynn Barbee of Des Allmonds, La.; and niece, Savanna Barbee of Des Allmonds.
A memorial service will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 13 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, La.
