ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Gulf Coast Ballet in Orange Beach announces the opening of registration this week for classes in Preschool Ballet for ages 3-5 and Classical Ballet for children, teens and adults.

All students at GCB perform at Christmas time in “The Nutcracker” ballet and each spring in a different story ballet.

Students are exposed to other styles of dance throughout the year with workshops in lyrical, modern and hiphop.

Director Kathleen Tucker invites parents and dancers to watch or take a free trial class any Tuesday in July to meet the instructors and see if GCB’s style of teaching fits the dancer’s needs: ages 3-5 at 2:45, ages 6-8 at 3:30, ages 9 and up at 4:30, and pre-pointe or pointe students at 5:30.

Adults may come any Thursday at 6:45.

Tucker teaches the children’s classes, Andrea Baggett instructs the pointe class. Angie Noe is the adult’s instructor.

The fall schedule, tuition and fees may be viewed at www.gulfcoastballet.com.

To receive a brochure by mail or to register, call Tucker at (251) 269-9297, or e-mail her at mrstucker@gulfcoastballet.com.
