Nora Martin Ballard, 88, a resident of Stockton, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008 at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette.
She was a retired seamstress with Manor Slacks.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loy Everett Ballard.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty B. (John) Sweet of Stockton; one grandson, John (Mary) Sweet Jr. of Mobile; two granddaughters, Cori Sweet and Haley Sweet; and two nieces, Gayle (Devan) Thompson Flowers of Stockton and Beverly Villafana of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 from the Cottage Hill Chapel of Stockton Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.
The pallbearers were John Sweet Jr., Charles Geck, Olson Long, Alan Day, Steve Hester and David Villafana.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
