Baldwin County young farmers John Bitto and Anna Strasser joined 26 of their peers from across Alabama to compete in state young farmers' events Aug. 3 during the Alabama Farmers Federation’s 41st annual Commodity Producers Conference in Birmingham.

Bitto and Strasser participated in the Discussion Meet. Bitto was selected as one of four semi-finalists and will compete in the final Discussion Meet round at the organization’s December annual meeting in Montgomery. From left are Federation President Jimmy Parnell, Strasser and Bitto.
