Join the Baldwin Pops and Music Director Joe Riemer on Thursday, May 31 at 7 p.m. in Foley’s Heritage Park. This concert, using the theme of “Dinner and a Movie,” is the final concert in Foley’s Music and a Movie concert Series sponsored by the Foley Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The program will include movie soundtrack selections from “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “My Fair Lady” and more. Bring lawn chairs and a picnic supper or enjoy on-site concessions. Special events include a Checkered Tablecloth Award for the most interesting picnic setup and a children’s march.
After the concert, The Foley CVB will show the movie “E.T”. In case of rain, the concert will move to the Foley Civic Center.

Continuing the band’s annual Sunset Series concerts on Sunday, June 3 at 7 p.m. on the bluff in Fairhope’s Henry George Park, the Baldwin Pops Band will present a special concert themed “The Best of the Baldwin Pops.” Music will be selected from favorites the band has performed in the 10 years since since being formed. This will be the 100th concert of the band.
Featured events of this Centennial Concert will be a children’s march with flags and the Checkered Tablecloth Award for the most interesting picnic setup.
In case of rain, the concert will be held at the same time and location on Monday, June 4.
