FOLEY, Alabama - Several high school football standouts from Baldwin County were recently selected to play in the annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game set for Dec. 15 at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
The Alabama and Mississippi teams are made up of current high school seniors. Alabama holds an 18-7 edge in the series played at Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium from 1988-2010. Alabama won last year’s game 31-12 with current University of Alabama freshman running back T.J. Yeldon earning MVP honors for Alabama. Alabama has won the last four in a row. Mountain Brook's Chris Yeager will coach the Alabama squad this year.
Foley High School: RB Cedrix Reed, TE/WR Alontai Adams, DL Darius Paige.
Fairhope High School: ATH Nate Andrews, LB J.P. Sherling.
Daphne High School: DB Tre Jenkins.
Spanish Fort High School: DB Johnny Cook.
Baldwin County High School: OL Forrest Garner.
