Baldwin County's The Lighthouse gets boost

BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Baldwin County Presiding District Judge Jody Bishop presented a $4,111.77 check recently to Jerry Sommer, executive director of the Lighthouse.

The monies came from assessments collected against defendants charged and convicted of domestic violence in Baldwin County. They are used to fund The Lighthouse, Baldwin County’s shelter for domestic violence victims.
