Alia Vickrey can add another win to his career total as a Baldwin County High School wrestler after he was selected as the Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week.
The Tiger senior, a three-time all-county honoree, recently joined Baldwin County’s 100-win club with two of his teammates during a dual with Davidson and Baker. Vickrey reached a triple-digit career win total for the Baldwin County Tigers alongside classmates Joaquin Crook and Nick Portis last Tuesday.
Heading into the homestretch of the individual season, Vickrey ranked No. 6 in the Alabama Wrestling Coaches Association’s latest state poll for the 157-pound division.
Stay tuned for the next poll to open on Mondays at noon on gulfcoastmedia.com/athlete.
