Marty McRae is the next Baldwin County Public Schools superintendent after the board of education voted 5-2 Thursday afternoon to hire the district's current assistant superintendent for security, athletics and student services. He's been serving as interim superintendent since Eddie Tyler retired effective June 30.
Board member Ken Bradley and board president Tony Myrick were the two no-votes.
