Baldwin County will host a virtual training session for lenders, realtors, and housing partners on March 24 to introduce the upcoming Homeownership Assistance Program, funded through the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program.
The session will provide guidance on program requirements, eligibility and how financial and real estate professionals can assist residents applying for assistance a news release said.
“Lenders and realtors will play an important role in helping residents understand and navigate the application process,” said Baldwin County Grants Director Brian Underwood in the release. “This training will ensure our partners have the information they need to help connect residents with available resources.”
The training is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at 10 a.m. and will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. Financial institutions, mortgage lenders, loan officers, real estate professionals and title companies serving Baldwin County residents are encouraged to attend.
The Homeownership Assistance Program is part of Baldwin County’s broader recovery efforts funded through the CDBG-DR program, which supports communities in rebuilding after federally declared disasters.
