Baldwin County High School Baseball retired its No. 3 jersey in memory of Ty Drinkard, who would have been a senior team member this season.

Drinkard died in a car accident in summer 2020 and had been a member of the Tigers baseball program since middle school. His mother and father, Daphne Stamps and Tyler Drinkard, were joined by sister Tayler Drinkard on the field for the ceremony. His younger siblings, Miles Stamps and Sophia Drinkard tossed out the first pitches of the game.

The family was presented with a framed jersey, as well as other gifts by Coach Zeb Hilburn, Principal Craig Smith and Athletic Director Scott Rials. The ceremony was held as part of the senior night pre-game activities.
