Baldwin County High School held a ceremony to welcome its 47 newest members into the National Honor Society.

As each new member was inducted, they signed the official membership book. The ceremony concluded with the lighting of the candles from current to new members as it made it all around the full circle.

The four pillars of the academic honor society are to foster scholarship, service, leadership and character.

New members include seniors Christopher Bennett, Edward Clark, Charlie Miller, Tamichael Neal; juniors, Alania Brown, Kelsey Burford, Rian Dunn, Ella Stapleton, Hannah White; and sophomores Madison Anderson, Samantha Boykin, Saylor Bryant, Emily Byrd, Savannah Cale, Conner Cash, Jackson Cassady, Taylor Chain, Kathryn Daniels, Ruby Day, Lauren Donald, James Emmons, Daelyn Fine, Brooke Godwin, Savannah Grace, Alfonzo Griffin, Angelina Grubbs, Payton Guy, Bailey Harris, Lorna Hester, Jaxson Hughes, Bryant Johnson, Elia Johnson, Calob Koehrsen, Shadyn Marion, Rae'unna Mims, Tyler Musgrove, Drace Nelson, Matalynn Padgett, Joshua Rice, Katie Rieben, Hannah Robinson, Kinsey Seals, Kaiden Smith, Kensley Smith, Shelby Stewart, Jayla West and Stacie Wilson.
