Students throughout Baldwin County sparkled with school spirit this week, dressing up for themed costume days to celebrate Red Ribbon Week and drug education awareness. Red Ribbon Week takes place each year from Oct. 23-31 and began in 1985. According to the National Family Partnership, formerly the National Federation of Parents for Drug Free Youth, the organization partners with schools and organizations throughout the country and provides them with drug prevention brochures and information regarding drug awareness and prevention.
