Mr. and Mrs. Michael Manning Bailey of Gulf Shores announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann Bailey, to Joshua Trey Chesser, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Chesser of Mathiston, Miss.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Gulf Shores High School and attends the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
She works at New Beginning Christian Academy in Northport.
She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stokes Faulkner of Prattville, Mildred Bailey of Montgomery and the late John W. Bailey.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Starkville High School and a 2006 graduate of East Mississippi Community College. He attends the University of Alabama and works at Madden Lincoln, Murcury, Volvo in Tuscaloosa.
He is the grandson of O.J. Henry of Mathiston, Miss., and the late Mildred Henry, and the late J.D. Chesser and Mattie Sue Chesser of Starkville, Miss.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Gulf Shores.
