Carlis Wade Bailey, 55, a native of Atmore and a resident of the Pine Grove community of Bay Minette, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at Oakwood.
He was a ship fitter for Benders Ship Building.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Baker Bailey of Pine Grove; son, Chad Bailey of Semmes; two grandchildren, Ali Bailey and Kayden Bailey; two brothers, Randy Bailey of Stockton and Tony Bailey of Bay Minette; and a sister, Carolyn May of White House Fork.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Helen Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Bryars McGill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian May, Christopher May, Wade Bailey, Rodney May, Paul Bryars and Wallace Bailey.

Arrangements were made by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
