Alex Warner is up to something.

The man whose creative genius, culinary knowledge and dynamic personality brought Bagel Boy to Foley has a new project underway.

The new venture is a partnership between Warner and a longtime friend, Marcus Owens. The duo met and worked together for many years in Colorado. Owens said he was just as excited by what Warner has been creating in Foley as everyone else and wanted to join the fun.

The dynamic partnership isn't ready to announce the name or even the delicious food we can expect to find at the small restaurant at 209 Alston St. The only details they are willing to release at this time are the following:

• A small menu with big flavors
• Fun environment
• Open into the evening

Warner has been enthusiastic about bringing more life and business to the historic downtown Foley area, and his new partner has the same vision.

The new restaurant will be undergoing renovations, and they are currently working to get everything in order. The hope is to open before the summer season is in full swing or sooner.
