An award-winning Fat Tuesday Drag Show will return to Seville Quarter on Tuesday, Feb. 17, serving as the final major celebration of Pensacola’s official Mardi Gras season.
According to a news release, the annual event has grown into a marquee Fat Tuesday tradition, drawing crowds for its high-energy performances, bold costumes and festive atmosphere. Blending classic Mardi Gras pageantry with contemporary drag, the show is designed for both longtime fans and first-time attendees and is open to guests ages 21 and older.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with performances beginning promptly at 8 p.m. at the downtown entertainment complex. Tickets are $20 at the door.
The evening will be hosted by Chesley Polk, known during the season as The Crown Jewel of Carnival. The lineup includes returning Pensacola performers Monica Heart and Aniyah Jade Oshanns, along with regional guests Dana St. Martin Duvall of Panama City Beach, Seraphina Amor of Gulfport, Missippi and special guest Lolly Gag of Jacksonville the release said.
“Fat Tuesday is about release, celebration and showing up as your fullest self,” Polk said in the release. “This show is our love letter to Mardi Gras, to drag as an art form and to the community that continues to support and uplift us year after year.”
The Fat Tuesday Drag Show has earned recognition for its choreography, production value and crowd engagement, becoming a consistent highlight of the local Mardi Gras calendar. Organizers say the event emphasizes inclusivity, performance artistry and a celebratory close to the season.
