Fairhope High School has been selected as a winner in the 2009 Alabama Safe Schools Initiative Awards of Excellence program. An independent panel of experts representing law enforcement, school administrators and emergency response professionals placed FHS among the Top 10 percent of statewide safe school nominations. Attorney General Troy King presented the award at a school assembly held Tuesday morning.
