Looking to make your holiday season a little more jolly? The Lower Alabama Young Professionals Club [LAYP] will be hosting their signature Santa pub crawl for the fourth year in a row, offering the chance to dress up as the big man himself.
The event, which is presented by the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach, will take place at The Wharf on Dec. 9, and participants are encouraged to dress in their best Santa or Christmas themed costume.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the Baldwin County chapter of Toys for Tots, and has previously raised over $3,000 and five boxes of toys in past years. Per the Nov. 22 release, the event usually averages between 200 and 300 participants, and is open to all ages 21 and up.
"In just a short time the Pub Crawl has become the signature event for our organization,” said Casey Buckner, chairman of LAYP. “It’s always a blast and getting bigger and better each year."
Additionally, the Hilton Garden Inn in Orange Beach will be offering participants a discounted room rate at $99 per night, and interested parties can book through Olivia Benboe at 251-974-1600.
