Annie Marguerite Martiniere (Fannie Bell), lifelong resident of Barnwell and Fairhope, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the age of 95.

Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ms. Martiniere was the first female disc jockey and radio personality on the Gulf Coast.

She adored her family, and she enjoyed listening to country music, telling stories and making those around her laugh.

She was a founding and lifetime member of the Mobile Country Music Association and a member of Barnwell Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed by all those she touched throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Gordon Martiniere; one son, Thomas (Diane); one daughter, Ann; and one daughter-in-law, Delores.

She is survived by one daughter, Katherine (Richard); and one son, William (Kathy); 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service.

Graveside services at Brook Cedron Cemetery in Barnwell will follow the service.
