Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Anderson Jr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jana Clare Anderson, to Jay Alexander Bocook, son of Jack and Mary Francis Bocook of Waynesville, N.C.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a BA in education with a concentration in middle level mathematics. She is employed with the Greenville County School District in Greenville, S.C.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Furman University and Northeast Louisiana University with a BA and MM in music education. He is director of athletic bands at Furman University and principal composer and arranger for Hal Leonard Corporation.
The couple will exchange vows July 7, 2007 in Las Vegas.
