Ame J. Anderson, 72, a native of Paterson, N.J., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He retired as a supervisor in shipping and receiving with Southern Aluminum Castings and served with the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Durant Anderson of Bay Minette; son, Kirk (Theresa) Anderson of Summerdale; daughter, Terry (Tom) White of Bay Minette; sister, Ruth Gianni of Saddle Brook, N.J.; and five grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 at St. Agatha Catholic Church with the Rev. Ernie Hyndman officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in White House Fork.
Active pallbearers are Jerry Clink, Paul Feltman, Jake Oestriccher, Mike Langham, Steven Vines and Frank Johnson. Knights of Columbus will serve as honorary pallbearers.
