Sarah Darelle Anderson, 19, a native and resident of Robertsdale, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.

She was a 2008 graduate of Robertsdale High School where she was assistant drum major her junior year and was drum major her senior year, 2007 homecoming queen, National Honor Society, and received other awards and honors, she was an active member of Loxley First Baptist Church and went on several mission trips including a trip to Haiti, she also was involved with drama and singing with the church, she enjoyed ballet, tap and zazz in her younger years; also enjoyed piano and was a student at Auburn University where she was also a member of the Auburn University Marching Band, playing the piccolo in the fall of 2008 and fall of 2009; she was also a member of the campus band for the fall of 2009 and a member of the Kappa Kappa Psi band fraternity; she loved horses and aspired to be a veterinarian.

Survivors include her parents, David and Linda Anderson of Robertsdale; sister, Danae Odom of Robertsdale; brother, Jon David Anderson of Mobile; grandparents, Hazel Carlee of Robertsdale and Voncille Long of Pine Hill; niece Celeste Odom of Robertsdale; nephew, Seth Odom of Robertsdale; and God parents, Randy and Anita Eldridge of Dunedin, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16 at Loxley First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Loxley First Baptist Church Mission Fund, P.O. Box 114, Loxley, AL 36551.
