FAIRHOPE, Ala. — American Legion Post 199, 700 S. Mobile St. in Fairhope, has scheduled another stellar lineup of Legion Jams each Friday, from 7 p.m. until.

Bring your guitar and join the fun, or just bring your friends for some great entertainment. There’s food, too. Check the menu in the bar.

•July 17: Ron Stacey & Honky Tonk Country.

Country classics and honky tonk favorites the way Willie, Waylon, Johnny Cash and the boys would do it.

•July 24: Damien Lamb, a Greenwich Village Original and now from Perdido Key appears with the Pale Moon Rising Band.

•July 31: Roger Fleshman & the Bay Runners.

Spanish Fort’s music sensation with another “Overcoming Cancer” tribute.

•Aug. 7: Randy Branch & Long Black Car, a Legion Jam favorite, who opened for Mickey Gilley and Hank Williams Jr.

•August 14: Keith Glass and Jimmy Lee Hannaford in another rocking “Lower Alabama Hoedown.”

The Legion is also announcing the popular Saturday Nite Blues, each Saturday, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Come on down and join the blues crowd.

Other upcoming Legion events include:

Sept. 7: Labor Day Barbecue & Beach Concert

Sept. 17-19: L.A. Songwriters’ Festival.

All events move into the Legion Hall in the event of bad weather.
