Alice Marie Shoots of Fairhope passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014.
She lived in Joliet, Ill., Coshocton, Ohio and Fairhope.
Alice was born Aug. 26, 1918 in Joliet, the daughter of Raymond and Eunice Morgan.
She married Everett Shoots Jr., lived in Joliet and later moved to Coshocton.
After the passing of her husband, she relocated to Fairhope in 1990 and resided there for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed walks with friends and family at the Fairhope Pier, cards at the Nix Center, travel with the travel club and vacationing at Gulf Shores with her family.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Lynda Ruland; her granddaughter, Kathleen Klema; her grandson, James Ruland; and four great-grandchildren.
