Alfred Leon Peterson, 80, went to heaven on Sunday Aug. 11.
He was born to the late Oscar and Pearl Peterson June 8, 1933 in Memphis Tenn. Al graduated from White Haven High School and then served in the U.S. Army.
Al is survived by his loving wife, Betty Peterson of Loxley; his daughter, Lisa Peterson Kimbrough of Orange Beach; and his son, Jeffery Alan Peterson of Foley. He is also survived by his two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful staff of William F. Greene State Veteran’s Home in Bay Minette.
Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at 10 a.m., at Silverhill Cemetery.
