Alene Bryars Kellerhouse, 83, a native and resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at Eastern Shore Health and Rehab.
She was a retired after 23 years as a nursing assistant at Thomas Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann Thomas of Greenville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Al Clifton (Wendy) Thomas of Greenville, Vickie (Donnie) Chapman of Richland, Miss. and Jonathan Chappell of Mobile; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla Cook, Destinee Marie Thomas, Trace Clifton Thomas, Mallory Chapman, Mason Chapman, Carson Chapman and Carley Chapman; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred “Al” Kellerhouse; and a daughter, Betty Ann Chappell.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at noon, at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m., at Norris Funeral Home.
