DAPHNE, Ala. — The United States Sports Academy announced that all of its faculty, staff and trustees have donated to the Academy General Scholarship Fund in support of Wounded Warriors.

Academy President and CEO Thomas P. Rosandich personally kicked off the scholarship fundraising drive with a $150,000 donation. The academy has conducted a national fundraising drive that has garnered broad-based support from around the country.

United States military personnel that have been disabled in the line of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan and other “combat zones” throughout the world may receive full tuition scholarships for the academy’s Bachelor of Sports Science, Master of Sports Science or Doctor of Education degree programs.

The academy’s degree programs are offered entirely online via distance learning. Students can enroll anytime from anywhere.

To be eligible, students must meet the respective requirements for full admission into the academy bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree program.

To view admission requirements, download the academy’s degree catalogs at www.ussa.edu or call 1-800-223-2668.

The academy is offering a limited number of tuition scholarships. Applicants will be reviewed by a committee that will consider financial needs and other criteria.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit institution, all donations to the Academy General Scholarship Fund in support of Wounded Warriors may be tax deductible.

To donate, contact the academy at (251) 626-3303 or visit www.ussa.edu.
