Lewis built his career on two distinct forms of song craft, establishing a reputation for authenticity and an uncompromising approach to his own experiences. The North Country native first gained widespread attention as the gravel-voiced frontman of the alt-rock band Staind during the Y2K era. His confessional songwriting helped set the band apart amid the chaos of the time.
After Staind's multi-decade, multi-Platinum run, Lewis launched a second act rooted in country music. More than 15 years into his hard-touring solo country career, he has become one of the few artists to bring his original audience with him.
Honesty has remained central to Lewis' work. His solo career includes two No. 1 Billboard Country Album debuts, "Town Line" in 2011 and "Sinner" in 2016. He also recorded the Platinum collaboration "Country Boy" with George Jones and Charlie Daniels and earned a Gold-certified Billboard No. 1 with "Am I The Only One" in 2021.
Lewis has accumulated more than 5.7 billion career streams.
His sixth solo country album, "List of Things to Quit," explores themes of growth and accountability. The 10-song collection combines his sharp-edged lyricism and country convictions with gritty throwback twang and a darker, deeper sound.
The Mobile performance will give fans an opportunity to see the veteran singer-songwriter bring that blend of rock history, country roots and unfiltered songwriting to the Saenger Theatre stage.
