Ready to fall into a weekend full of fun?

This weekend, Baldwin County and the surrounding area will offer plenty of ways to get out, make memories and celebrate the season. Families can get into the Halloween spirit with trick-or-treating, costume contests, pirate adventures and plenty of spooky fun, while rodeo fans can saddle up for two nights of action in Bay Minette. Those looking for a groovier vibe can head to Pensacola for a hippie festival filled with live music, tie-dye, art and good vibes. Plant lovers can get their hands dirty browsing thousands of houseplants, wooden boat enthusiasts can admire classic vessels and music fans can enjoy live bands, German fare and a little Oktoberfest cheer. If you prefer your fall festivities with a touch of elegance, raise a glass at a garden fundraiser featuring wine, art and live music or take in a hauntingly good ballet performance of “Dracula.”

Whether you’re hunting for treats, treasures or your next favorite plant, there’s no reason to let this weekend ghost you by.

These events, along with many others happening throughout the region, appear on our Happenings pages as space permits and online at www.GulfCoastMedia.com/things-to-do-events. Most event coverage is published online in advance of the event, making it easier to plan ahead.
