Blue Marlin Grand Championship
What: Sometimes things come together at the right place and the right time to create something truly unique. The Blue Marlin Grand Championship is a result of one such magic combination. Tune in for daily weigh-ins and tournament events centered around the marina. This is the finale of the acclaimed Gulf Coast Triple Crown Series.

Foley Third Thursdays
What: Stroll around after hours and experience some of the local shops Downtown Foley has to offer. Inside each participating store, there is something new to explore. This month's theme is "Christmas in July" and will feature a beach-ready Santa photo op, Tropical Elves on Shelves, holiday crafting and opportunities for charitable giving.

12th-annual Young Professionals Bingo & Brew
What: This Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce fundraiser benefits United Way's Backpack Food Program in Baldwin County. Raffle tickets, bingo prizes and more.

Where: Fairhope Brewing Company, 914 Nichols Ave., Fairhope

93rd-annual Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo
What: Anglers of all ages will return to Alabama's Gulf Coast for one of the nation's largest saltwater fishing tournaments. Whether you're fishing, cheering from the shore or enjoying the family-friendly festivities, it's a summer tradition you won't want to miss. Founded in 1929, the fishing rodeo now attracts over 4,000 anglers and 100,000 spectators. The three-day event features 33 categories with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all categories. One Master Angler is also awarded along with cash prizes for King Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Big Game Jackpots. The total awards package is valued up to $1 million in cash and prizes.

Eco Partner Pickup with Alabama Young Professionals
What: Make a difference for Alabama's coast by joining Eco Clean Marine and the Alabama Young Professionals for a community beach cleanup. Volunteers will meet at North Parking Lot East of Surf Style in Gulf Shores to help remove litter and protect local wildlife and waterways. Cleanup supplies will be provided, and participants will enjoy a complimentary breakfast following the event, with optional beach volleyball afterward. Foley Alt Rock Fest

Baldwin County Historical Society Summer Quarterly Meeting
What: Following a brief BCHS business meeting, the program will be presented by Susan Reynolds, manager of the Swift-Coles Historic Home. Learn about this fascinating home from a bygone era, its owners and its storied past as it relates to the history of Baldwin County. Attendees are welcome to tour the house in conjunction with the meeting. Parking is available adjacent to the historic house.

Christmas in July Dance
What: Dance with music by the legendary "Santa" Eddie McDaniel, who has performed at Dollywood, Disney Boardwalk & Universal Studios and is a professional Santa at the Beau Rivage, performing favorite hits from the '50s, '60s, '70s and contemporary songs, too. Suggested attire is casual or dressy holiday attire. BYOB and snacks. Water, soft drinks, cups and ice provided. Split the Pot drawing. Please bring a nonperishable food item for donation to Feeding the Gulf Coast Food Bank.
