DAPHNE — The city of Daphne’s Recreation Department invites families to the 7th Annual Art in the Park, to be held Thursdays, May 31 and June 7, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at W.O. Lott Park, 2000 Main St.
Art in the Park provides free activities and attractions for the community.
Some of the scheduled activities include Weavo the Clown, Richard Blaine the Magician, Funny Farm Petting Zoo, Alligator Alley, Gyrospace, themed arts and crafts, face-painting, train rides, games, prizes, spacewalks, music, and firefighter Tom Bertagnolli and an antique truck.
The Recreation Department will provide free snow cones and popcorn, and Daphne Utilities will provide hotdogs.
On May 31, art projects will include creating fossils, 3D dinosaurs and dinosaur magnets.
Radical reptiles will be on display for the June 7 Art in the Park. Children can create a gator clip and frog magnet.
