These rivers come together in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta and flow into Mobile Bay in a scenic blending of waterways. Located here is 5 Rivers, Alabama’s Delta Resource Center – your gateway to Alabama’s largest National Natural Landmark and the second largest river delta in America.
5 Rivers features outdoor recreation opportunities in the Delta. It fosters responsible land stewardship and conservation education in Alabama. It’s the ultimate place to begin your outdoor adventure into over 250,000 acres of scenic waterways, woods and wetlands that comprise the Delta. Or, simply explore the 5 Rivers trails and facilities to soak up the natural beauty of the lower Delta.
You can hike, canoe and kayak. We guide field trips, as well as guided pontoon boat delta tours. The Delta Hall is a favorite venue for receptions, parties, meetings and conferences. Or simply site and relax, to take in the peaceful surroundings of this pristine natural treasure.
