Severe Weather Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday
What: The Baldwin County Commission adopted the Severe Weather Preparedness Tax Holiday which allows for the exemption of Baldwin County sales and use tax for items related to severe weather preparedness. This is a great time to stock your hurricane kit with batteries, duct tape, plywood, tarps and more. Visit revenue.alabama.gov for a full list of items exempt during this time.

Orange Beach Seafood Festival and Car Show
What: The 31st Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival and Car Show return to The Wharf this weekend. The festival is a major fundraising event for the Makos Academics Arts & Athletics Club (MAAAC) which benefits Orange Beach City Schools. Chili for Charity 2023
What: Chili, live music and activities are the components of a fun day out with family and friends. The Ecumenical Ministries annual Chili for Charity event will take over the Halstead Amphitheater at Coastal Alabama Community College in Fairhope. Annual Fort Morgan Oyster Fest
What: Celebrate the oysters grown in the waters surrounding the Fort Morgan peninsula at the Annual Fort Morgan Oyster Fest. Oysters from Navy Cove and other Fort Morgan oysters will be served in several ways. There will also be festival food, drinks, beer and cocktails.
