Plans are underway for the 27th annual Jubilee Festival Sept.26 and 27 in Olde Towne Daphne. Art Festival hours are Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and there is no admission to the festival.

The festival will be enhanced this year with the addition of a craft beer garden where patrons can enjoy a variety of craft brews. Included will be Fairhope 51 from Fairhope Brewery, Grayton Beach Brewery’s 30A Beach Blonde Ale and Back Forty’s “Truck Stop Honey” along with traditional favorites. The beer garden will be open Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

In addition to the craft beer garden, The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Jubilee Festival Committee is excited about the expansion of the festival’s entertainment line-up. In working with Manci’s Antique Club, the committee has secured new talent as well as local favorites.

Saturday's lineup starts at noon, with a new act every hour. In order, you will hear Christina Christian, Roman Street, John Law Band, Neil Dover and the headliner, Rosco Bandana who recently played on 92 Zew's "Second Tuesday."

Other entertainment for Saturday and Sunday include the SunChief Sound, belly dancers and local dance troops.

With the enhanced entertainment and the addition of the Craft Beer Garden, you will not want to miss the creation of this unique Jubilee atmosphere right in Olde Towne Daphne.

Sponsors this year include Riviera Utilities, Family Security Credit Union, Southern Cancer Center, Allen, Allen & Foster, Hartmann, Blackmon & Kilgore, Alabama Public Radio and Phelps Dunbar, Coastal Bank and Trust, Bank of England Mortgage, Centennial Bank, and Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties, Volkert, Inc., The Guarantee Title Company and The First of Baldwin County.
