ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Just like their varsity counterparts, which began their seasons Aug. 19, middle school teams from around the county will soon be suiting up and taking to the field for the start of the 2016 season. Seventh and eighth grade teams from Central Baldwin Middle, Foley, Fairhope and Gulf Shores suited up for a Jamboree recently at J.D. Sellars Stadium in Robertsdale. Teams from Bay Minette, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Summerdale, Elberta and Bayside also compete in middle school competition.
