Fall has officially arrived, and Baldwin County is ready to welcome the season with open arms.
While the leaves may not turn just yet and the crisp air may still be on its way, the first days of fall bring a fresh lineup of events to enjoy with family, friends and neighbors.
From the cult-classic thrills of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and a women’s expo in Foley to charity galas, history tours and outdoor concerts, the week offers something for every interest. Families can meet adoptable pets, explore sea turtle conservation or dive into pop culture at Comic Con. Runners, music lovers and festivalgoers will all find a place too, with events ranging from 5Ks to Oktoberfest celebrations.
Here’s a look at what’s happening across Baldwin County and beyond this week.
Want to share your event? Email me at whisper@gulfcoastmedia.com. Even better, add it to our online calendar at www.GulfCoastMedia.com/calendar, where it's featured in newsletters, on our website and more. You can search for events by distance from your home city or even your vacation spot anywhere in the United States. Plus, adding your own event is easy and posts online the same day you submit it. While print space may be limited, there's always room on the calendar.
