100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier celebrated

The General Galvez Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution participated in Daughters of the American Revolution commemorative ceremony this month to mark the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The event, held at the Richards-DAR House Museum in Mobile included the unveiling of a monument dedicated to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Among the special guests who attended were NSDAR President General Denise Van Buren.

Attending the event were (left to right) Compatriot Stuart Ritter, DAR PG Denise Van Buren, Compatriots Larry Liles, John Van Zandt, Jim Corum and Jerry Green.
