Spring in Baldwin County means one thing for many residents and visitors: the return of the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival.
The beloved annual event takes over the streets of downtown Fairhope this weekend, bringing together artists from across the country along with food vendors, live entertainment and thousands of visitors who come to browse handmade works and enjoy one of the Gulf Coast’s signature cultural events.
However, beyond the festival, there are plenty of other ways to get out and explore the area in the days ahead. This week’s lineup includes live music at OWA Theater, shopping and social events at Eastern Shore Centre, community gatherings in downtown Foley, plus educational workshops, fundraisers and family-friendly festivals across Baldwin County.
Many of the events featured in this roundup were submitted directly by readers to our staff and through our online calendar. Our newsroom regularly reviews the calendar and selects events from those submissions first when building these weekly guides. If you would like to see your event included in future listings, be sure to submit it at www.GulfCoastMedia.com/calendar. We select 10 events each week.
