What: The Eastern Shore Kid’s Market will host its spring and summer sale featuring gently used children’s items from newborn through juniors. Shoppers will find clothing, shoes, toys, books, games, strollers, homeschool materials, sports equipment, swimwear, bedding, maternity wear and more. The multi-day consignment event allows families to shop discounted children’s items and consignors to earn money on outgrown goods. Many items will be discounted 25% on Friday and 50% on Saturday. What: Seagrass Village of Gulf Shores will host its monthly Veterans Breakfast, welcoming veterans and members of the public for a complimentary morning gathering. The event offers an opportunity for fellowship, conversation and community connection in honor of local veterans. All veterans are invited to attend.

What: The Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore will present its annual Project Prom, offering free formal wear and accessories to local high school students preparing for prom. Students may select one complimentary gown from an inventory of more than 1,000 dresses in sizes 0-20. A wide selection of shoes, jewelry and accessories will also be available. The event will feature door prizes including gift cards to local businesses, professional photo sessions, flowers and other donated items. The program is designed to ensure all students can attend prom regardless of financial circumstances.

What: A traveling drive-in laser light show will make a two-night stop at the Baldwin County Coliseum, featuring high-powered lasers choreographed to music from the 1970s through today. The family-friendly 7 p.m. show will feature current and classic pop and country hits, while the 9 p.m. Classic Rock Laser Show will highlight rock anthems from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Guests may tailgate from their vehicles with their own snacks and drinks or sit in the infield seating area with chairs and blankets. Food vendors will be onsite. What: The Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market will host its annual Coastal Garden Festival, marking the kickoff to spring. The event will feature fresh produce, meat, seafood and baked goods along with local nurseries and gardening vendors. Master Gardeners will be available to offer planting advice and gardening tips. The City of Foley’s Arbor Day celebration will begin at 1 p.m., allowing guests to shop the market and stay for the ceremony.

What: The History Museum of Mobile, in partnership with the Exploreum Science Center, will host a hands-on Underwater Excavation Workshop inviting participants to explore the field of underwater archaeology. Guests will excavate artifacts from a mock shipwreck and learn about historic ships, the Mediterranean region featured in the “Sunken Treasures, Ancient Seas” exhibition and the excavation and preservation of Roman vessels and artifacts recovered from the sea floor. What: The 34th annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival will feature a full day of seafood, live music, more than 100 arts and crafts booths, a Kids’ Zone and a car show showcasing antique, classic and hot rod vehicles along Main Street. The festival serves as the major fundraiser for the Makos Academics, Arts and Athletics Club, which supports Orange Beach students and schools. More than 20,000 people attend each year. What: The South Baldwin Literacy Council, in collaboration with the Friends of the Orange Beach Public Library, will host its annual Winter Trivia Night featuring eight rounds of 10 questions. Mulligans will be available for $20 each, allowing one free answer per round. The evening will also include a Pick-A-Pot game with 20 tickets available for $25 and a mid-evening Heads/Tails contest. Participants are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks, and alcohol is permitted. Prizes will be awarded for trivia winners and best table theme. Proceeds benefit the Orange Beach Public Library and the South Baldwin Literacy Council, supporting literacy and community programs throughout Baldwin County. What: The Fort Morgan Oyster Fest, a finalist for Best Festival at the Beach in the Best of Baldwin Awards, will return for its fourth year with two days of fresh oysters, live music and family-friendly activities. Hosted by Spectrum Resorts, Sassy Bass and Navy Cove Oysters, the festival highlights Alabama’s oyster industry with raw and cooked oysters from local farms including Admiral Shellfish Company and Navy Cove Oysters.
